Before you send an item back to us there are a few things you should do, this guide should outline the steps and the things to check in order to have a quick resolution of any problem you might be experiencing. First of all, make sure you still have your original invoice, as we need it to be able to help you.
If your product is faulty, please check that it isn’t covered by the manufacturer directly. As certain products are supported by the manufacturer, you will get a quicker response and resolution if you contact them directly. See Manufacturers that Support their own Products for more information.
If the product is not supported by the manufacturer then you must contact us instead.
The vast majority of products require one of our technicians to test the reported fault, if the fault you are experiencing is not externally visible then it is highly likely yours will require testing.
Unfortunately due to software licensing laws and copyright thieves we are unable to accept any software for return under any circumstances.
Under certain circumstances, such as not having a replacement in stock, items that are returned more than 28 days after purchase, that are tested as faulty, will need to be sent off to the manufacturer before a replacement or repair is issued.
All products that are supported by Computers 4u have a 12 month warranty unless otherwise stated and when returned must come complete with original packaging. A full refund is inclusive of the price paid for the product and the delivery costs from us to you for that item only. Unfortunatly Computers 4u can NOT cover or refund any cost that may occur in returning a product back to us.
